Who We Are

Dallas Black Business was started as a Facebook group in 2015, by Lydia Randle. The goal was to create a place where black people could thrive in a digital and physical marketplace. The facebook group grew to over 20 thousand people in and around the Dallas, TX area.

With many others formulating groups, Lydia decided to increase her efforts and started Dallas Black Expo. Dallas Black Expo is a physical marketplace that allows black businesses to showcase their goods and services. Dallas Black Expo has welcomed hundreds of black businesses and thousands of consumers over the years. 

With the wake of the Covid -19 pandemic, Lydia searched and brought on other team members and partners to allow her to create better events and establish more reach & engagement for the black community. This allowed her to start having workshops, training classes, marketing opportunities, as well as bigger and better events.
